International
Partnerships
We wish to build close relationships with other European countries, which we are already doing with Norway, Germany, and Great Britain amongst others. We wish to do the same thing in Africa.
Partnership between the FDM and the Congo
A partnership agreement with Senegal has been in effect for almost six years, and now, on 17th April 2008, the Essonne Consular Chambers signed a co-operation agreement with the Republic of the Congo.
The delegation from the Republic of the Congo was headed by:
the Minister for Small and Medium-sized businesses, Madame Moundele Ngollo.
The partnership aims to:
- Promote commercial relations between companies in Congo Brazzaville and companies in the Essonne.
- Develop international exchanges to promote and bring out the skills that are essential for local economic development.
- Develop training courses to satisfy the requirements of small and medium-sized companies.
This partnership should allow our apprentices to gain more of an
international outlook.
For now, the partners need to become better acquainted so that
a true partnership can be built.
Humanitarian action in Senegal
Since 2002, our CFA has joined the town of Foundiougne in Senegal with the aim of installing computers and familiarising people with their use for the benefit of underprivileged populations.
We have made a five-year commitment to installing computer equipment in the town's schools, with an Internet connection and networking.
Every year, the MRIM Bac Pro trainees (Microcomputing and Networks: Installation and Maintenance) have the opportunity to participate in this mission with the aim of:
- Training the Senegalese teachers to use computers.
- Installing computers in primary schools in Foundiougne.
The objectives are professional, educational and humanitarian, all at the same time. The apprentices share their knowledge and apply the skills they have acquired at the CFA and in companies in a different environment.
